Preston currently aren’t in their best shape. In the last 3 games they managed to win only one point and in the game against Huddersfield they put out a terrible performance and lost 3-1. As a home side, Preston North End preform way better, making it difficult for their opponents. Alltough The Lilywhites are the newcomers to the Championship, after they were promoted from League 1 last season, it is safe to say that they are used to playing in the top devisions. Currently they are fighting to stay in the Championship and are 4 points away from Bristol City, which are 22nd. Unlike many others Preston North End have proven that they have enough fortitude to keep fighting and for now they deserve to stay in the league. Their opponent for today- Hull City is fighting for the top positions. It seems to us that Hull City will need to improve their game as an away side, because in their last three guest appearances the team conceded 8 goals. This could prove to be quite disturbing, especially for a team with such high ambitions. Hull City has at their disposal a lot of capable players which can control on the way the game develop but lately there appears to be a problem in their defense. Hull City’s manager- Steve Bruce is trying to motivate his players and this seems to be working out well for the Tigers. With players like- Maloney, El Mohamady , Huddlestone and Diame, Hull City’s midfield line up is looking quite impressive. These players could really make a difference in a game when they have control over the midfield. It is definitely one of the clubs biggest advantages. This is going to be an important game for both teams. Although their tight schedule Hull will be looking to win this one. The Tigers will come out extremely confident for this match as a result of their recent crushing victory over Burnley. On the other hand, Preston North End will be looking to give their supporters a reason to celebrate and if they manage to win they will improve their league table positions drastically. This is definitely going to be an attractive game. Our opinion is that it is going to be best to look for the goals in this match. The league leader Walsall is one of the best teams both tactically and defensively. They are going up against the best attacking side- Peterborough. Walsall is obviously in great form with their 4 victories in a row. Last season the Saddlers finished in the middle of the league table and in the following summer they acquired a lot of good players. Some of these athletes even had experience playing for their respective national teams and it is safe to say that Walsall now possess an excellent bunch of players. The fact that they are currently the league leaders shows us that the club has enough strength to keep on winning. Peterborough United has also managed to sign some decent players. Today’s game will be a big challenge for the Posh. Due to Peterborough’s aggressive style of play, this match should be enjoyable to watch. The form they are now is something we haven’t seen in a long time and it is very disappointing to the supporters. We are yet to see if Mourinho was really the only reason for this downfall. The new coach- Hidink made his debut two days ago against Watford, but he couldn’t manage to win his first match. The good news for Chelsea is the fact that over the last few years they seemed to dominate United, when playing against them. The Red Devils, on the other hand, were at the top of the league table until recently, but without wining neither one of their last seven games, and the fact that they dropped out of the Champions League will surely going to have a negative effect on the team. Chelsea registered their worst start of the season since 1978. As much as the fans loved Mourinho, Abramovich was forced to let him go. Although both teams are having problems with their absent players, it seems that United are in a tougher spot. Chelsea’s forward- Costa has been punished after he got another yellow card and is not amongst the players who are going to star in this match. The situation for Falcao is still unknown. Maybe he will muster the strength needed to play, but if not, then Remy will be left in attack. It is obvious that yet again Chelsea is having some difficulties in their offensive game. Last year Diego Costa was in excellent form but now it seems that the midfielders will have to do all the work. Another problem that Chelsea has to deal with is their inadequate defense. Players who probably won’t be playing this game for Manchester United are: Lingard(mf), Darmian(df), Rojo(df) and Shaw(df). Rooney is going to replace Depay today. He had enough time to catch a breather and is now going to play at full capacity. Manchester United’s manager- Van Gaal could also be fired from the club if he doesn’t manage to win this match. The fans seem eager to see him go. This is going to be a tough game for both teams, but we expect Chelsea to keep intact with its tradition and triumph over United. Two very different clubs with two distinctive styles of play. Crystal Palace is currently in top form. They haven’t lost any of their last 5 games and are 5th in the league table. Their manager- Pardew managed to assemble a decent team. The Eagles have an aura of confidence around them. Their strong suit is the counter attack, where they can rely on their fast paced players. Swansea, on the other hand, has started the season very well, but now is in a tough spot, due to a series of bad games. In their last 15 games the Swans have won only 2. Although Crystal Palace playing excellent football at the moment, we think that in the near future they are going to experience some difficulties. We don’t think that they have enough stamina to stay in the top 5, but let’s not underestimate them. In today’s game Crystal Palace won’t be able to rely on Wickham(fw) and Bolasie(mf). Bamford and Gayle are still under question. The good news for Pardew is that Cabaye(mf) has fully recovered and could help out his team in the middle of the field. Right now the problem for Swansea is that they rely too much on Gomis, Ayew and Sigurdson. Crystal Palace, on the other hand, has enough skillful players in the midfield, which can make or break any game. Genclerbirligi S.K. have played some decent games so far, but their opponents will be extremely motivated to win a few points. Expectations were high at the start of the season for Eskisehirspor, but right now they are last in the league table, having conceded a lot of goals- 36 in 16 games. Their opponents for today- Genclerbirligi have a very well set up defense, and with only 1 point away from the danger zone, they are going to be energized enough to win this match. At the moment Genclerbirligi rely on players who are not from Turkey. Almost all of their squad is comprised of foreigners. Ekisehirspor, on the other hand have few nonnative players. Their policy is to try and give a chance to their young athletes. It is fair to say that both clubs could have achieved better results, but due to the thought competition they haven’t been able to meet everybody’s expectations. Both teams have a lot of injured players, some of which are key to their game. Due to this fact the managers will have to make some unwanted changes. This will result in some confusion in both sides. We expect a lot of goals to be scored in this match, because if Eskisehirspor don’t win any points today, their situation in the Turkish league will be awful. Genclebirligi will also be looking for a win. This match is a great opportunity for both teams to catch a breath of fresh air in their fight to come out of the relegation zone.
